GO FAST MOUNTAINBIKER 9th AT WORLDS
| | Megan feels dissapointed at her result knowing she had the potential for a podium finish in Canada this year. Alot needs to go right in a 24 hour race and it means a lot can go wrong and Megan had her share of that. At one stage after several misfortunes Megan dropped from 4th down to almost last and battled her way back up to her credible 9th placing. One of the biggest factors Megan had to struggle with was the contrast of training in the NZ winter often as low as 4 degrees some mornings to the 36 plus temperatures she had to contend with in Canada. Megan is already looking forward to Austrailia next year and feels she will have home turf andvantage against the Northern Hemisphere riders. |
